Marion Louise (Davis) Nickerson went to be with the Lord, on September 29, 2017, at home, holding the hands of her loving daughters. She was born April 13, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY, to Marguerite (Underhill) & Albert Davis Jr.

Marion was educated at schools in Jamestown, RI and Wellfleet, graduating from Wellfleet High School. She worked as a bookkeeper until she was married and started her family. Later, she managed the cafeteria at Wellfleet Elementary School.

Marion Louise (Davis) Nickerson went to be with the Lord, on September 29, 2017, at home, holding the hands of her loving daughters. She was born April 13, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY, to Marguerite (Underhill) & Albert Davis Jr.

Marion was educated at schools in Jamestown, RI and Wellfleet, graduating from Wellfleet High School. She worked as a bookkeeper until she was married and started her family. Later, she managed the cafeteria at Wellfleet Elementary School.

She was a charter member of Grace Chapel Assembly of God in So. Wellfleet, serving as a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and children's group leader.
Marion was predeceased by her husband Edward A. (Gus) Nickerson Jr, her daughter Janice Hannan, brother Edmund Davis, and sisters Doris Parton, Roberta Buck, Marguerite Moran, and Carol Hughes.

She is survived by daughters Marianne Nickerson and Arlene Reed, both of Wellfleet, her sister Joan (Loyd) Grimes of Humboldt, TN, her grandchildren Laura (Daniel) Krueger of Raytown, MO, and Jonathan (Melissa) Reed of Gloucester, VA, and twin great-granddaughters Rosalie and Hazel Reed, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, October 4th at Grace Chapel Assembly of God, Wellfleet. Funeral will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 5th at Grace Chapel Assembly of God, followed by interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wellfleet.
